WINTER

2023-24

Keystone FC is proud to offer camps and clinics during the winter. These camps are open to players inside and outside of the club. Keystone FC offers a variety of camps throughout November, December, January, February, and March.

CURRICULUMS

Camps and clinics will have a curriculum specifically tailored to the focus area of that camp or clinic. All curriculums will have an emphasis on technical development. We believe this is crucial in order to develop as a player. Each camp strives to make sure players leave a better player than when they started.

COACHING STAFF

The staff will be comprised of Keystone FC staff, as well as a variety of other coaches from the area. Coaches have played at the collegiate and professional level and have earned licenses and certifications from the United States Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches. Current and former collegiate players may assist our coaching staff as needed.

CAMP REFUND POLICY

Keystone FC offers a full refund for camp/clinic registrations when appropriate notice, of at least 14 days prior to the start of the camp/clinic, is provided. Any requests made for refunds within two weeks of the start date of the camp will be issued a credit towards a future Keystone FC Camp. Any requests for a refund once the camp/clinic has begun is left up to the discretion of the Director of Soccer and Director of Camps & Clinics.

WINTER OFFERINGS 2023-24

FUNDAMENTALS TRAINING

Ages: Boys & Girls Under 9 - Under 14
Dates: Saturday's in Dec., Jan., & Feb. (12/9/2023 - 2/24/2024)
Time: 8:00AM-9:00AM
Location: Yellow Breeches Sports Center
Level: Advanced or Intermediate
Cost: $160.00 for Each 4 Week Block

Keystone FC is excited to offer a new camp experience for the 2023/2024 winter season. Total Player Academy will be a 12 week camp running for a hour each week that will be divided into three 4 week blocks. Each 4 week block will focus on a different element of player development.

The first 4 weeks of Camp (December 9, 16, 23, 30) will focus on Defending and improving players defensive play. The second 4 weeks ( January 6, 13, 20, 27) will focus on Midfield play and improving players play through the middle of the field. The last 4 weeks (February 3, 10, 17, 24) will focus on Forward play and improving players going to goal.

This 12-week training will be limited to 12-14 players per group. Smaller group sizes will allow our coaching staff the opportunity to focus on the player's development while pushing the players to compete against peers from within their group. Each group will be Co-ed with players divided into U9-U12 and U13-U14 groups.

Total Player Academy is open to both players that are part of Keystone FC as well as players outside the club as well.
TOTAL PLAYER ACADEMY

Keystone FC is excited to announce our Winter Finishing Camp for 2023. This is a camp that consistently has outstanding feedback and this camp always sells out each winter. We are excited to once again offer a camp providing shooters an opportunity to improve skills and scoring ability.

Finishers camp focuses on an area most players love to take part in but at times is the least addressed technical area of the game – finishing. Whether you are a striker, midfielder or defender, this camp will improve your ability to score goals and prepare you for the seasons ahead. Players will work in small group sizes with more intentional repetitions at multiple techniques. Our curriculum will cover a wide variety of striking techniques, mechanics, and movement off the ball with exercises tailored for age groups/levels to challenge each player appropriately.

Finishing Camps focus on:
Placement shooting
Receiving/ Set up to strike
1v1 fakes and feints
Runs off the ball in scoring positions
Back to goal ‘hold up’ play
Target play/turning to shoot

This 6-week training will be limited to 10-12 Field Players per group. Smaller group sizes will allow our coaching staff the opportunity to focus on the player's development while pushing the players to compete against peers from within their group. There will be two groupings available for this training U10-U12 Boys and Girls and U13-U14 Boys and Girls.

Finishing Camp is open to both players that are part of Keystone FC as well as players outside the club as well.
TIKI TAKA TRAINING

Level: Advanced

Keystone FC is excited to continue our Winter Tiki-Taka for 2023. Tiki Taka Training will teach the fundamentals of the Tiki Taka style of play which was popularized by the Barcelona soccer club.

Tiki Taka is a specific style of play in soccer. It is fast paced limited touch short range passing in possession, with quick creative decision making and quick movement after each pass to combine with players and create scoring chances.

Some of the skills we are looking to teach at our Tiki Taka Training include:

- Limited touch short range passing in possession
- Awareness
- Space, shape, timing and movement off the ball in support of possession
- Creative decision making
- Combination play

This 6-week training will be limited to 12-14 players per group. Smaller group sizes will allow our coaching staff the opportunity to focus on the player's development while pushing the players to compete against peers from within their age group.

Tiki Taka is open to both players that are part of Keystone FC as well as players outside the club as well. Please Note that Tiki Taka Training is an application only training program. All registrations will be placed into waitlist status.   If your player is not placed in Tiki Taka the club will offer a full refund.
WINTER BREAK DAY CAMP

Keystone FC is excited to announce our fourth annual Winter Break Day Camp for 2023. This camp opportunity returns again and will provide players some fun focused small sides games and unique on the ball activities that promote technical abilities with the ball over their school holiday break.

Small sided games are a teaching tool that soccer coaches have used for many years. It has become extremely popular over the last couple of years world wide as more coaches want to teach players in live game situations. It also allows players to make mistakes, learn from them without consequence, and then try again. We are excited to single this type of teaching out in to it's own day camp. If you have a player that needs to get better at decision making and aggressiveness in a no pressure environment, this is the camp for you!!

This 4 day camp will be limited to 12-16 players per age group with each day lasting for an two hours. Smaller group sizes will allow our coaching staff the opportunity to focus on the player's development while pushing the players to compete against peers from within their group.

Winter Break Day Camp is open to both players that are part of Keystone FC as well as players outside the club as well.
WINTER YDP CAMP

Keystone FC is excited to continue offering our youngest players a chance to train as the weather gets colder and soccer moves indoors.

This 6 week training camp will be run by our Technical Director Matt Anderson. Group sizes will be limited to 10-12 players per group. The focus of these sessions will be getting players more comfortable with a soccer ball and developing confidence with the ball. The camp will use small sided games to promote learning while having fun playing the game of soccer.
WINTER GOALKEEPER ACADEMY

Ages: Boys & Girls Under 10 - Under 18

Keystone is pleased to be bringing back our Winter Goalkeeping Academy. This 12 week training opportunity will be held on Saturday mornings from 7-8AM each Saturday. Group sizes will be limited to 10-12 GK's per group.

Goalkeeper Academy is focused for Goalkeepers who want to stay sharp through the winter off-season and start their day with some goalkeeping! These morning sessions provide a great outlet for the dedicated goalkeeper to get high-level training in an environment that will allow them to improve without fear of mistakes as well as learn technical aspects of the position. This is not an introductory level clinic, Attendees should have some previous GK training and playing experience for older age groups. Goalies who are new to the position should consider another GK training opportunity.
